As a family-owned and managed business, we have a deep sense of responsibility for your project’s success.
Led by two brothers who are highly experienced Civil Engineers, the Walison team treats every project as a personal challenge and an opportunity to excel in our field.
Established in 1997, Walison Corp. built its reputation for quality by gut rehabilitating and renovating many old burnt-out shell buildings in upper Manhattan, Brooklyn and the Bronx. At the same time, we gained valuable experience converting vacated schools and warehouse buildings into apartments.
Rising to even greater challenges.
The caliber of the work we performed soon won us ground-up new construction projects. In September 2000, we were awarded our first new construction project in Bay Shore, Long Island, NY. This project, known as MDQ Center, is an 11,500 sq. ft. steel structure building with a full basement, main floor and a mezzanine. It is one of the most beautiful buildings we have built, inside and out. We were the General Contractor for this project, and we also provided pre-construction services for it, such as design input and value engineering, which resulted in enormous savings for the owner.
Since then, we have constructed many new buildings in New York City, Mount Vernon and New Rochelle. We enthusiastically invite developers and property owners throughout the NY, NJ and CT region to contact us regarding any projects you may be planning—whether residential or commercial, new construction or renovation.
If your project requires a minority contractor, Walison is also certified as a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) by the New York State Economic Development Corporation and The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.
